Regumate Equine Oral Solution for Horses is indicated for the suppression and prevention of oestrus in mares. This hormonal treatment is used in mares with significant follicular activity during the transitional period between seasonal anoestrus and the breeding season.Regumate Equine is for oral administration only with the daily recommended dose of 0.044mg altrenogest per kg body weight for 10 consecutive days. It can be added to the mare's feed, at a single feeding per day, or directly administered into the mouth using a syringe.Do not use in males. Do not use in mares where uterine infection has been diagnosed.
