Nuflor 300mg
ml Solution for Injection is a long-lasting antibiotic which helps to control the 3 major bacterial causes of bovine respiratory disease. This unique and fast-acting antibiotic is indicated for the treatment of both cattle and sheep.Nuflor can be administered to cattle which is indicated to treat diseases caused by florfenicol susceptible bacteria. It is also used as a preventive and therapeutic treatment of respiratory tract infections due to Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somni. The recommended dose for the treatment of cattle is 20mg
kg body weight to be administered by intramuscular injection twice, 48 hours apart. Alternatively, Nuflor Solution for Injection can also be administered by a single subcutaneous injection at a dose rate of 40mg
kg body weight. If Nuflor is being administered to cattle for preventative reasons, the recommended dose is one subcutaneous injection of 40mg
kg body weight. Do not administer more than 10 mL at each site.Nuflor can also be effectively administered to sheep for the treatment of ovine respiratory tract infections due to M. haemolytica and P. multocida susceptible to florfenicol. The recommended dose for the treatment of sheep is 20mg florfenicol
kg body weight. This should be administered by intramuscular injection daily for three consecutive days. The volume administered per injection site should not exceed 4ml.Please see packaging for withdrawal periods and adverse reactions
