Moxodex contains moxidectin, an ingredient that belongs in the same
wormer class as ivermectin. However, moxidectin has a longer persistency
after use, affording animals more protection against pasture-based
parasites like lungworms and stomach worms. Moxodex also offers shorter
meat and milk withdrawal periods versus ivermectin.
