A broad-spectrum antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis in susceptible microorganisms. Flunixin meglumine is a relatively potent non-narcotic, nonsteroidal analgesic with anti-inflammatory, anti-endotoxic and anti-pyretic properties. Hexasol LA Solution for Injection is indicated for the treatment of acute respiratory disease caused by oxytetracycline sensitive Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida where an anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic effect is required.
