Furosemide is used for the treatment of oedema, the product may be used in ascites, hydrothorax, pulmonary oedema of the mammary glands or legs, as well as oedema resulting from cardiac insufficiency, hepatic or renal dysfunction, parasitism or of a traumatic origin.
