FORCERIS is an innovative product as it is the first injectable
combination product containing gleptoferron and toltrazuril, which
prevents iron deficiency anaemia and controls coccidiosis in one single
shot. As a combination product which can be administered from 24 hours
of life, FORCERIS# allows application to be done at one time point
rather than separate applications for iron and toltrazuril. Therefore,
FORCERIS# has a time saving aspect, but also reduces the stress to the
piglet from reduced handling, especially as it can be given from 24
hours, meaning it can be completed at the same time as other husbandry
procedures. FORCERIS# is also in a CLAS vial which is light and
resistant to breakage, as well as having reduced impact on the
environment.
