Cortavance, for symptomatic treatment of inflammatory and pruritic dermatoses in dogs.Cortavance is a topical corticosteroid spray for the treatment of pruritis and dermatitis in dogs. Cortavance contains Hydrocortisone Aceponate and when used at recommended dosage does not have any detectable harmful systemic effects. Cortavance is packaged as a hand pump spray in a 76ml bottle, each bottle contains approximately 500 sprays and there is no need for the user to have any hand contact with the product. The recommended dosage is achieved with two strokes of the pump spray over a surface area equivalent to 10cm X 10cm, once a day, for seven consecutive days.
